OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR LIVING SPACE OF BASECAB
Indoor and outdoor equipment is completely up to
the customer. The possibility to equip the BASECAB gradually is a big advantage
of our concept. It is also possible to get a BARE SKELETON and set it up
according to your needs and desires accordingly – for example as a mobile workshop or a mobile
office. It is possible to design the height, length and width of the BASECAB in
accordance with the model of your vehicle.
The basic skeleton is 295x191x200 cm and is universal for every European double pickup with closed body. For American pickups, singlecab, crewcab pickups the dimensions need to be adjusted. We always carry out a vehicle measurement.
The price of the basic size BASECAB bare skeleton is EUR 15.600 without VAT, when changing the dimensions we add 800 - 2 000 EUR + VAT.
The exterior walls of the BASECAB can be provided in two colours. You can choose between WHITE and GREY.

FILTER CANISTER

The Lifesaver canister with a capacity of 20 liters is used by the British Army. It takes care of the supply of clean water thanks to a highly efficient nano-filter cartridge. It removes 99,99% of viruses and bacteria and has a capacity to filter up to 20,000 liters of water. The water is drinkable and without any unpleasant taste and odour due to ultrafiltration technology and active carbon. An integrated hand pump creates water pressure for efficient filtering and easy flow. The canister is equipped with a saving shower head with a valve which can be used both indoors and outdoors – for example for washing dishes or showering. The canister can be easily detached and be easily filled and used outside of BASECAB.
WATER HEATING

The ideal option is a 3 l / 660 W / 230 V boiler with 3 water control stages. The boiler provides lukewarm water in about 2-3 minutes, warm water in 5-10 minutes, hot water in 15 minutes and maximum heating level in 20-30 minutes. The water temperature can be conveniently regulated by a lever tap. We are newly installing a shower head with infinite flow control, which makes showering more economical and comfortable.
SHOWER KIT

Comfortable and practical shower with integrated tub and drain. Made in Spain from high quality materials which provides its durability. It takes less than a minute to unfold or fold the shower kit and takes up a minimum of space when folded. After showering the tub can be simply lifted and the water drained out using the drain hose. Residual moisture is easily wiped off and the entire shower kit is rolled up above the entrance to the BASECAB.

The basic alternative for showering in BASECAB is a folding rubber-textile bathtub. The moderate flow of water from the shower runs down the body into the bathtub. Lightly wetting the floor and furniture is not a problem. The bathtub can be folded and stored in the included textile bag, for example next to the toilet. Dimensions: 60x60 cm or 90x60 cm.

CHARGING STATION

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus charging station offers a capacity of 1,000 Wh, which is enough for 2–3 days of operation even without external charging. It can be expanded with an additional battery with another 1,000 Wh. Charging is possible from the mains via an outdoor connection (up to 1,500 W), from an alternator (500 W), or from a solar panel (100 W). The unit is fully integrated into the superstructure system, but is also easily portable for use outside of it. Due to easy disconnection it can also be conveniently used outside of the BASECAB. We provide installation of holders which are bespoke made.
DIESEL HEATING SYSTEM

The quiet diesel heating system is equipped with a modern pump with hydraulic stops that eliminate disturbing clicking and with a special altitude system for a smooth operation even in higher altitudes. It offers a wide range of modes including timer and ventilation. The maximum fuel consumption is only 0,24l/hour. The fuel tank is solved by an external, removable canister with a drip-free quick connection. It allows easy dismantling and refuelling. Two canisters can be used next to each other to increase the fuel capacity. The full system is located in an aluminium box outside of the BASECAB for maximum safety, easy service, elimination of odours and saving of indoor space.

The main lighting source is the Goal Zero Torch 500, which offers two lights: one shining downwards and one shining into the alcove. Each of them has three levels of intensity.
